Bringing Honda-ness to life online

The portal page of Honda Europe was initially a very straightforward division selection page. It was simple and effective, but it was also a missed opportunity. As the new look and feel developed it was clear that the portal page, as the first point of contact with the brand online, was the ideal place to set the tone for the rest of the Honda online experience. 

My brief was to use the page to create a playful engaging narrative, that would bring to life a number of stories that have made Honda the brand it is. Working closely with a copywriter to define the stories, I utilised existing brand assets to creative a simple engaging page that brought the idea of ‘Honda-ness’ to life. And you can still get to lawnmowers pretty quickly too…
