A lion called Luke and a tiger called Thomas

My current side project, this set of illustrations started with a sheep called Sophia. She was both created and named after my beautiful baby goddaughter, as I wanted to give the original Sophia something personal to decorate her nursery. I also saw it as the perfect opportunity to scratch a longstanding itch and get stuck into some illustration - and so my animal ABC was born.

I wanted to create a really simple, geometric illustration style and took inspiration from some of my favourite illustrators such as Charley Harper and Ingela P Arrhenius. Thanks to several other new arrivals, I quickly had something close to a set so I have now decided to carry on and complete the alphabet.
