When two designers get married

When two designers get married, the design of the invitations was always going to be the subject of much conversation. We wanted to create an invitation suite that reflected our love of typography and craft, so the design was clean and contemporary – with a bit of design geekery thrown in for good measure. The invitation itself was letterpress printed by Blush Publishing, with the rest of the stationery digitally printed. 

Typography also played a big part in the day itself, with a large hand lettered chalk board to welcome our guests, a wedding cake complete with sugar paste lettering and reception tables named after typefaces, which were hand lettered onto miniature blackboards. And of course our designer friends enjoyed the Comic Sans table very much…
